Franc Moody is funk duo Ned Franc and Jon Moody- songwriters, producers and leaders of their incendiary 6-piece touring band. Influences include a selection of funk and dance music’s finest. From Parliament to Jamiroquai, Daft Punk to LCD Soundsystem.

Ned and Jon spent some long years trying to make it as jobbing musicians, playing every gig they could from chintzy weddings, to house bands in dive bars. Meanwhile (with a community of misfits and renegades from the wider London scene) they built a studio and living space in a Tottenham warehouse- honing their DIY recording craft.

After debuting the Franc Moody show in 2017 at Bermondsey Social Club, it was only a quick 2 years before they had sold out Shepherds Bush Empire, and their debut album ‘Dream In Colour’ was released the same year. Album 2 ‘Into The Ether’ followed in 2022.

To date, Franc Moody have amassed over 150 million streams, and in 2023 played their biggest show yet at the 5000 capacity Eventim Apollo in London.

This year Franc Moody launched their own ‘House of FM’ label for an initial series of singles, with long-time collaborators Juicebox.
